Church Constitution
The foundational principles, vision, and governance of Christ Freedom Gate Apostolic Ministries International.
ARTICLE 1 – NAME
The name of the organisation shall be CHRIST FREEDOM GATE APOSTOLIC MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL, hereinafter referred to as "the Ministry" or "the Church.”
ARTICLE 2 – REGISTERED OFFICE
The registered office of the Ministry shall be located in England and Wales at an address determined by the Board of Trustees. The registered office may be changed whenever necessary, provided the change complies with all applicable legal requirements.
ARTICLE 3 – OUR VISION
Our vision is to reveal Jesus Christ to the world through the faithful preaching of the Gospel, the demonstration of God's power, intentional discipleship, and compassionate service. We desire to see lives transformed, people reconciled to God, and individuals equipped to fulfil their God-given purpose.
ARTICLE 4 – OUR MISSION
- Reveal Jesus Christ to all nations through the preaching of the Gospel.
- Restore hope to those who are broken, discouraged and forgotten.
- Help people discover, recover and fulfil their God-given destiny.
- Build spiritually mature believers through biblical teaching and discipleship.
- Demonstrate the love of Christ through practical acts of compassion and service.
- Raise leaders and disciples who will positively influence their communities and the nations for the Kingdom of God.
ARTICLE 5 – OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The Ministry exists to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Holy Bible and pursues the following charitable purposes:
1Gospel Ministry
To proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through evangelism, church planting, teaching, healing, deliverance and discipleship, leading people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Scriptures: Matthew 28:18–20; Mark 16:15–18.
2Healing and Restoration
To minister God's healing, restoration and wholeness through prayer, biblical teaching and the power of the Holy Spirit, bringing hope to individuals, families and communities.
Scriptures: Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16–17; James 5:14–16.
3Evangelism and Missions
To organise evangelistic outreaches, revival meetings, crusades, conferences, missions and discipleship programmes throughout the United Kingdom and across the world.
Scriptures: Acts 1:8; Matthew 24:14.
4Christian Growth and Education
To help believers grow in their relationship with Christ by encouraging: Regular Bible study, Prayer, Worship, Holy living, Biblical understanding, and Practical application of God's Word in everyday life.
Scriptures: 2 Timothy 2:15; Joshua 1:8.
5Compassionate Ministry
To demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through charitable works for the benefit of the wider community, including: Relief of poverty, Food distribution, Clothing support, Care for widows and orphans, Family support, Counselling, Youth empowerment, Community development, and Care for the elderly and vulnerable.

6Prayer Ministry
To establish and promote prayer ministries dedicated to spiritual revival, national transformation and intercession for individuals, communities and nations.
7Leadership Development
To identify, train and equip pastors, ministers, missionaries, evangelists and Christian workers for effective Kingdom service.
8Church Planting and Training
To establish churches, Bible schools, mission centres and Christian training institutions wherever God provides opportunity.
9Charitable Purpose
To operate exclusively for charitable purposes for the public benefit in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
ARTICLE 6 – STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Ministry believes:
- The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God.
- There is one true God who exists eternally as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man.
- Salvation is by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
- Water baptism by immersion as an act of obedience.
- The baptism of the Holy Spirit and the empowerment of believers.
- Divine healing through the finished work of Christ.
- The operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
- The visible and glorious second coming of Jesus Christ.
- The resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
- Eternal life for those who believe in Christ.
ARTICLE 7 – MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to individuals who:
- Have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
- Accept and agree with the Statement of Faith.
- Support the vision, mission and objectives of the Ministry.
- Seek to live a Christ-centred lifestyle consistent with biblical teaching.
- Respect and submit to the spiritual leadership of the Church.
The Ministry welcomes all people without unlawful discrimination while retaining the right to uphold biblical doctrine and leadership standards in accordance with applicable UK law.
ARTICLE 8 – LEADERSHIP
The leadership of the Ministry shall consist of:
- Senior Pastor
- Associate Pastor(s)
- Elders
- Deacons
- Trustees
- Ministry Leaders
The Senior Pastor shall provide spiritual oversight and pastoral leadership, while the Board of Trustees shall ensure the Ministry is governed responsibly and complies with all legal and regulatory obligations.
ARTICLE 9 – BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Ministry shall have not fewer than three Trustees. The Trustees shall:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Protect and manage the assets of the Ministry.
- Exercise responsible financial stewardship.
- Promote transparency, accountability and good governance.
- Safeguard beneficiaries and the reputation of the Ministry.
- Act at all times in the best interests of the charity.
ARTICLE 10 – FINANCES
The Ministry may receive income through Tithes, Offerings, Donations, Grants, Gifts, Fundraising activities, Legacies, Investments, and Any other lawful source of income.
All income and property shall be applied solely towards advancing the charitable purposes of the Ministry. No Trustee or member shall receive personal financial benefit except for reasonable reimbursement of authorised expenses or lawful remuneration permitted under charity law.
ARTICLE 11 – PROPERTY
All property, assets and equipment belonging to the Church shall be held solely for the charitable purposes of the Ministry. No individual member, leader or Trustee shall have any personal ownership or claim over Church property.
ARTICLE 12 – MEETINGS
The Ministry shall hold: Annual General Meetings (AGM), Trustee Meetings, Leadership Meetings, Members' Meetings, and Special General Meetings when required. Proper notice shall be given for all meetings in accordance with the Ministry's governance procedures.
ARTICLE 13 – SAFEGUARDING
The Ministry is committed to providing a safe environment for everyone. Appropriate safeguarding policies and procedures shall be maintained for: Children, Young people, and Vulnerable adults. These policies shall comply with current safeguarding legislation and recognised best practice within the United Kingdom.
ARTICLE 14 – FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The Ministry shall maintain accurate accounting records at all times. Annual financial statements shall be prepared and independently examined or audited where required by law.
ARTICLE 15 – CONFLICT OF INTEREST
Trustees and leaders must declare any actual or potential conflict of interest. Any individual with such a conflict shall withdraw from discussions and decisions relating to that matter unless otherwise permitted by law.
ARTICLE 16 – AMENDMENTS
This Constitution may be amended by a two-thirds majority of members present and entitled to vote at a properly convened General Meeting. No amendment shall permit the Ministry to cease operating for charitable purposes or conflict with the laws of England and Wales.
ARTICLE 17 – DISSOLUTION
Should the Ministry be dissolved:
- All lawful debts and liabilities shall first be settled.
- Any remaining assets shall be transferred to another Christian church or registered charity with similar charitable purposes.
- Under no circumstances shall any remaining assets be distributed among members, leaders or Trustees.
